Definition

The sensory mechanism through which the subject makes an overt, measurable response.

  • This should be defined in parallel with stimulus modality, either in the sense that the behavior playing the role of the response has_response_modality (X), where X is the body part used to perform the response activity, or that response_modality is a quality of the response.
